The staff were all amazing and the food didn't disappoint. It was freshly cooked with quality ingredients and so delicious. This is a family restaurant with a family feel and it all makes for the best Italian restaurant for miles"

"In the couple of years since Casa Azzuri opened it has become one of my firm favourites. Lovely friendly service and delicious food. Don't be put off if you walk past early evening and it appears empty - it doesn't stay that way for long! The locals pile in from about 9.30pm and what better recommendation can there be."

"Four of us went for dinner after a round of golf. Arrived at 7pm on a Monday. Restaurant was fairly quiet so no waiting at all. Restaurant is comfy and is a cross between a Restaurant and Pub, but very pleasant. Ordered 3 red wines and 1 large Morretti Beer. Wine was pleasant and easy to drink but the Morretti is a bit expensive at €6. We then ordered 3 Pizzas with interesting toppings and one Pasta with Seafood. All the meals were hot and very well topped and tasted excellent. The Pasta was not very large so we ordered Bruschetta to fill our companion. 3 more red wines to wash the food down. Total bill of €83. Recommend and will definitely return."

"Finally found an authentic Italian Restaurant in the area, the welcome was warm and friendly. we sat outside with a drink as we studied the excellent range of meals on offer.....all four of us had decided what to have before we saw the vast range of pizzas etc on the other side...seated inside by the owner, who I believe is called Gigi? He was enthusiastic about each choice we made. Starting with stuffed courgette flowers, gnocchi bread, never had it before but we will again..and baked cheese terracotta, some very nice wine recommended by Gigi....followed by the best carbonara, cannelloni and tagliatelle all superbly cooked and fresh and hot! thinking we would not have room for dessert, we forced ourselves to try the ice cream, and the most unusual but very delicious tiramisu, coffees were good and a very pleasant end to super evening...and it didn't cost an arm and a leg, see you again soon."
